  14. what makes a good project? • supports key fundamentals (sometimes presented much earlier) • provides hands-on practice with modern technology / methods • requires minimum recurring faculty time • is challenging but fun

  15. why projects???? Projects are the glue that link theory to applications Projects build intuition and provide context Intuition sticks with you, while theory fades Projects foster almost all of the attributes of the ENGR of 2020 Projects make students more innovative Projects build confidence
