Berezneguvatskiy district is a wonder place Picturesque nature, rich mineral resources, historical and cultural monuments, favourable geographical location allows to offer to business partners interesting forms of cooperation on developing mineral fields, mineral waters, processing of agricultural products, manufacturing of consumers' goods, development of service sphere. Berezneguvatskiy district •The district is located in south-eastern part of Mykolayiv oblast • Territory: 1,264 square kilometers (5,1% of the whole oblast territory) • Borders: It borders on Kherson and Dnipropetrovsk oblast as well as Kazankivskiy, Novobuzskiy, Bashtanskiy, Snigurivskiy regions of Mykolayiv oblast • The amount of populated areas – 43: - towns – 1, villages -42 Population: 21,3 thousand people.

  4. The following objects have been created and are working in the region now:161 shops; 17 cafes and restaurants; 58 consumers’ objects including 22 in rural area.   5. Infrastructure of the district Transportation supply lines: • Automobile ways - 539,4 km, • including: • with solid covering - 425,6 km; ground - 113,8 km. Water supply: • central water supply – 32 populated areas (75%); • extent of water networks – 179,3 km; • sources of water sypply: • 54 artesianboreholes; 840 mine wells. Gas supply: • Extent of gas networks - 441,5 km. • Gas has been installed in 31 of 43 populated areas (72%).

Social and cultural spheres • Education • The following institutions are functioning in the region: • 24 secondary schools; • 21 pre-school educational institutions; • a technical college; • the house of children’s creative work; • junior sport school. • Health care • The medical service is supplied by: • Berezneguvatskyi central regional hospital; • 5 outpatient clinics of general practice and family medi- • cine; • 23 Faps • Culture • The network of cultural institutions includes: • 22 clubs; 16 libraries; • children’s music school;regional museumof history; • Vysunskyi public museum.

  7. Health and entertaining institutions of the district There is Bashkirov M.V. resort base in the pine hole BilaKrynytsya. It is a magnificent place for recreation and children’s health improving: a coniferous forest, clean air, curing water. The total area of the camp is 4,2 hectares, the area of the hole – 160 hectares. Nearly 600 children improve their health in summer time. The camp has been awarded with official prizes several times, it was recognized the best in Ukraine in 2005. In the center of the village there is children's favourite place of recreation «Fairy Tale»

  8. Connection and modern technologies Suppliers of cellular connection provide the connection for 90% of populated areas in the region. Hometelephoneconnection: the amount of users – 3, 987; 473 users have been connected to the Internet by ADSL technology.

  9. Natural resources of the district Water resources: Rivers: the Ingulets, the Vysun, the Dobra. Lands of water fund – 1, 303 hectares. Forest lands: the total area of state forest lands – 2, 796 hectares. Agricultural grounds: 114 thousand hectares, including 93 thousand hectares of tillage Mineral resources: clay, lime, sand. .

Touristic potential of the district • The area of natural protected objects – 263 hectares, namely 7 local hunting forbidden territories where one can meet rare plants from the Red Book. • The works have been done to found “Vysunsko-Inguletskiy” regional landscape park on the territory of 2,712 hectares to provide: • preservation of place for untouched nature and opening of Berezneguvatskiylands beauty; • foundation of new center of “green tourism” and recreation with sufficient potentioal for development. • The following objects have been registered on the territory of the region: • .131 archeological showplaces; • 48 historic showplaces; • 7 showplaces of architecture and town building • There are ancient burial mounds of 6-8 thousand years old.

Density of population – 17 people per 1 square km. Average salary – 1600 UAH a month.

Industry • The industrial production of the region: • bakery; • meal; • peeledgrains; • oil. • Theregion has: • 5 mini-bakeries, • 8 meals, • 7 hullingmills. • The volume of sold products (goods, services) at the prices of the enterprises (without VAT and excise) for January-September 2010 is 293 thousand UAH. • The essential part of recessing agricultural enterprises of the region in the volumes of sold products for January-September • 2010, %

Agriculture • The manufacturers are: • 14 big agricultural enterprises; • 54 private enterprises; • 330 farmings; • state enterprise of research farm “Rekonstruktsiya”. • There are 3 seeds enterprises: • “Orbita”; • “Rekonstruktsiya”; • “Prometei”. • The main trends: • plant growing (the growing of grains and technical plants); • cattle breeding (meat and milk production); • poultry breeding (breeding of various poultry types). • Climate conditions of the region are favourable for growing: • grains (winter and spring wheat and barley, corn, millet, buckwheat); • technical (sunflower, rape, mustard); • feedstuff (corn for silage and green fodder, perennial herbs) • The percentage of sold agricultural products in the total volume of the region is 96,7. The experience of the region in investment projects “Reconstruction of Berezneguvatskiyschool” 6,954 UAH has been invested since 2006, including 5,520 UAH from state budget In the process of reconstruction energy-efficient technologies have been instilled , proper condition for the process of education and children’s feeding have been created. • 4 village (Vysunska, Murahivska, Novosevastgopolska and Kaluzska) and Berezneguvatska village radas took part in 8 projects of European Union and Program of United Nations Development in Ukraine “Local development, people oriented” for the total sum of 942 thousand UAH, the following was financed: • 412 thousand from local budgets; • 47,5 thousand UAH community costs; • 482,5 thousand UAH project costs.

Equipment has been bought, the work on obtaining the certificate for the products is n the process. The total area of pig complex is 2 hectares. The capital buildings are in satisfactory condition. Purpose-oriented usage of investment costs: Pig farm reconstruction. Pedigreed hog purchase. The name of the enterprise: Local children’s health-improving resort named after M.V.Bashkirov. The total volume of necessary investment – 280 thousand USD The description of the enterprise: The resort is located out of BilaKrynytsya village of Berezneguvatskiyregion. The total area is 4,2 hectares. The resort has 20 brick buildings (37 rooms for children’s recreation). There is a swimming –pool. Purpose-oriented usage of investment costs: Repairs of premises, installation of electric heating. Purchase of furniture for rooms construction, equipment for easting establishment and a physical therapy surgery. Purchase of modern filtering set for a swimming-pool. The term of the project recoupment – 2 years.

Basements are available. Purpose-oriented usage of investment costs: The costs will be used to complete the repairs of the second floor of the premises and to buy furniture for the room.
