UniTeam – UniTwin 3B/3E • Objectives : • establish network to dialogue on the synergy between Enterprising, Educating and Engineering and spread the resulting ideas • Enable bi-lateral and multi-lateral cooperations • Potential outcomes: • “educing engineer”-courseware • ICT implications of 3Es • GMS-VU realization (?) • Other WWW.GROUP-T.BE

GT involvement in the GMS-VU pilot-project • Initial meetings and contacts in 2000 • Attended the STOU-hosted workshop in August 2001 • Substantial financial investment in GMS-VU project by providing 7 students of different GMS countries the opportunity to study Master in E-Media Engineering program at Group T in Leuven • Establishment of a GMS-workgroup at Group T • 2 students already in Leuven (from Thailand and Cambodia) • 2 students to arrive next week (from Vietnam and Lao) • 3 students to arrive in November (from China and Myanmar) WWW.GROUP-T.BE

  18. Our views on GMS-VU pilot project • Process : agreement on expected outcome + action plan • Content : ICT / E-media, Tourism, Civic Education, … • Delivery medium : CD-rom, VCD, … • Target Groups : University teachers / administrators WWW.GROUP-T.BE

  19. Our Commitment • Additional scholarship for 2 students of each GMS country to study at Group T and ensure continuation of the efforts of current GMS-VU workgroup • Coordination of EU funding applications • Possbile integration of GMS-VU project in UniTwin 3B/3E WWW.GROUP-T.BE
