City of Mason Primary Election Tuesday, August 7, 2012 Important Dates: • August 4 - 2:00 p.m. - Deadline to request an absent voter ballot by mail • August 6 – 4:00 p.m. - Deadline to request an absent voter ballot in person • An absentee ballot may be requested until 4:00 p.m. Monday, August 6; ballots must be voted at City Hall For further election information, please contact the City Clerk’s Office at (517) 676-9155

  7. City of Mason Primary Election Tuesday, August 7, 2012 Important Dates: • Tuesday, August 7 - 7:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. Primary Election Day -- All precincts are located at City Hall, 201 W. Ash Street. • August 14 – 4:00 p.m. – Last Day to File Candidacy for citizens residing in the Mason Public School district wishing to seek office for Mason School Board -- must file an Affidavit of Identity and a nominating petition (or a $100.00 nonrefundable fee may be filed in lieu of a petition) with the City Clerk’s office. City of Mason Primary Election Tuesday, August 7, 2012 Election Day Information: Photo Identification Required to Vote Under Michigan law, all voters are required to show photo identification to vote at the polls. Voters without identification will be required to sign an affidavit to receive a ballot. The identification requirement does not apply to persons voting by absentee ballot. Accepted forms of photo identification: Driver's license or personal identification card issued by Michigan or another state, federal or state government issued photo identification, US passport, current student identification with photo from high school or accredited institution of higher education, military identification card with photo, or tribal identification card with photo. In addition to the tournament itself, there is a concession stand, bounce house for the younger kids, and a dunk tank that always has someone in it that deserves to get dunked. This year there might even be one of the high school coaches there for a little while so don't miss it. There is also free parking and plenty of open space for tents and tailgating though out the day.  If you need to get away for a short time Rayner Park is just around the corner and has a large playground for the younger kids as well.
