Setting • Crime stories in this genre often highlight the life of a crime figure or a crime’s victims. • Crime and Gangster films talks about bank robbers, underworld figures, people who operate outside the law, stealing, and violently murdering their way through life. • The movies started to develop in the 1940’s. 

  3. Characters • More likely the characters are tough Italians, involved in mobs.  • People who want to get away from police and trying to control a certain part.  • Hire many people to try to achieve the same goal.

  4. Actors/Actress • Al Pacino • Andy Garcia • Ben Kingsley • Carey Grant • Dustin Hoffman • Gene Hackman • Humphrey Bogart • Jackie Gleason • Kathleen Turner •  Nicholas Cage  • Tom Hanks • and etc.

  5. Stories • Mostly the stories are about a group of  people who are involved to control a part.  • Trying to get many people to achieve the same goal.  The goals in the movies have a lot of risk, risk that could involve all the people who are being part of the operation in jail.  • A lot of violence and a lot of crazy parts.  • People in the film would do anything.  • A lot of money, drugs, gambling, hustling, and etc. involve in these films.

  6. Scenes • There are a lot of famous scenes.  The scenes in these films are basically come down to the good guy vs. the bad guy. Or a tough ending for the group of people who's plan was ruin and they all end up in jail.  There could also been a murder involved.  Overall most the movies will give a good ending for the viewers.
