  2. Nypunyam will be a part of ongoing initiatives undertaken by the Government of Kerala in setting up of international skill institutes in the different industry verticals

  3. Sectors are identified as the potential areas for Centres of Excellence, where the bridging of skill gap is felt as an urgent necessity from the social as well as industrial point of view: - Construction and Infrastructure - Nursing - Security Services - Automotive Training Centre - Multi Skill Centre - Entrepreneurial Skill Development Centre - Skill Academy for Banking and Finance - High Tech Automation and Mechatronics Centre - Skill Centre in Oil and Rig - Skill Centre for Retail - Skill Centre for Wellness and Hospitality - Farm Sector including Plantations - Handloom - Heritage Preservation Skills

Changing the educated into an employable workforce by identifying their skill sets, provide training and equipping them to be placed. Plan Scheme To upgrade the Employment Exchanges to handle the challenges of the changing world especially in training and placement of the jobseekers. Provide employability solutions by assessing the skills. To build capacity of the candidates, and making them more industry relevant. To provide value added services to Job Seekers and act as a Vocational Guidance Bureau. Objective Increase in employability of the workers Gradation of skill sets Better productivity Increased social mobility. Growth of Industries through quality work More Self Employment Ventures Outcome

  11. The project will be implemented through KASE- Kerala Academy for Skills Excellence, a Kerala Government Undertaking, functioning as the nodal agency. Action Plan Registration Screening Assessment Psychometric Testing Skill Gap Analysis Skill Training 7. Skill Testing 8. Certification Smart Card facility Conduct Job Fest Canvas Potential Employers Pooling web site for the skilled workforce Functional Areas Screening & Assessment Skill Gap Analysis Skill Training Skill Testing & Certification Agencies with expertise in the respective field will conduct the above activities. Technical Expertise Will be required in the following fields and has to be outsourced
