  1. Social Justice and Empowerment suffered in the present state of AP. Thanks to Nizam and After, Telangana people, vast majority of SCs,STs, BCs, Minorities enjoyed lands, jobs and power. Lands belonging to these communities were grabbed and bought at throw away prices under threat and coercion. With the loss of importance to Urdu language, these communities had to lose jobs that required Telugu and English command, which was achieved by the settler Coastal people during the British regime. Thanks to Legislative domination, Bureaucratic domination was established, whereby the non-locals and their areas were discriminated in almost all fields, despite the fact that there were natural resources available in the Telangana region. During the pre-Andhra Pradesh stage, the population figures of SCs, STs, BCs and Minorities, in the Telangana region, were more than that of their figures in the present AP. Thus, these communities suffered political empowerment., whereas their upper-caste communities by collaborating with their counterparts in the Coastal areas dominated in the state politics. For instance, none belonging to the BCs, STs, Minorities ever became the Chief Minister of nearly six decade-old AP government. As an aberration, an SC was made as chief Minister for a year or so! In other words, their number would be more in the Telangana state once it is created as before during 1948-56. Compared to the present state average, their percentages would be more and thus, better chances of political empowerment. While the present state average(population percentages) of these communities viz., SCs, STs, Muslims, BCs are 16%, 6%, 10% and 44%respectively, their figures in the Telangana state would be 18%, 12%, 14% and 52% respectively. Certainly, these figure matter in the formation of new government in Telangana. In the present state of AP, since the counterparts of Telangana marginalised communities in Coastal areas are advanced language-wise and otherwise, and thus grab opportunities meant for Telangana candidates. Suffice it cite a case of state-level coaching institution for SCs, located at Hyderabad, where more than 90% of candidates belong to non-Telangana areas. If the Telangana becomes a separate entity, then there would be no scope for others to grab our opportunities, in reservations and industries. Compared to the number of top bureaucrats and businessmen between the two regions, less said the better about TelanganaDalits and Adivasis! Besides, lands meant for Telanganatribals were being submerged, irrigation projects are being constructed for Coastal farmers! Lands allocated for Wakf trusts are grabbed are handed over to Coastal contractors, for being near and dear to the powers that be! Lands allotted to the local SCs in around Hyderabad were taken back by the governments and surrendered to the big companies, and 0f course, thousands of government lands in the twin cities were auctioned off to the affluent few, who largely belonged to non-Telangana areas. Finally, more than their upper castes, the marginalised Telanganites are not capable to withstand the pressures of their counterparts in Andhra areas. Viewed in this backdrop, revival of old state of Telangana(Telugu-speaking Hyderabad state) alone solve the present problem that cost the lives of more than six hundred students and youth belonging to the marginalised communities of Telangana. Dr.BR Ambedkar not only advocated the creation of small states in the country, but also included Article 3 in the India Constitution so as to create more than dozen new states so far in India. 1
