  4. What Does NCWM Do Standards for devices used in commerce: • Scales • Meters • Berry Baskets • Fabric, Wire, and Cordage Measuring Devices • Timing Devices • Grain Analyzers • Software for POS Systems And… • Taximeters To name a few.

  5. What Does NCWM Do? Administer the National Type Evaluation Program (NTEP) • Evaluate prototype devices for compliance with U.S. standards • Issue NTEP Certificates of Conformance • Provides gateway to the U.S. market
