Program Goals • Create a challenging opportunity for highly motivated students to learn the scientific method and principles through a hands-on experience. • To provide opportunities for middle school students to interact and communicate with other students and professionals in the scientific field. • Give enthusiastic middle school students the chance to develop their scientific interests through participation in a long-term science project of their choice.

Program Timeline and Parent Involvement • See attached document for timeline • Due to the nature of this after school program, students will have to be very independent and organized in order to be successful. • Transferrable skills in time and project management, parents can help their child in learning these essential skills.
