  13. Assessment • Permissible under Bylaws • Upon a majority vote of the members at any meeting, fees or payments may be authorized. (Article IV, Section 5)

Assessment • Each member shall be entitled to one vote at all meetings of the members of PWSRA. (Article V, Section 1) • A majority vote of the members present shall govern in all matters properly brought before the meeting. (Article V, Section 2) • Members attending meetings shall constitute a quorum capable of transacting all business properly brought before the meeting.  (Article V, Section 3)

  15. Assessment • The Case for Assessment • PWSRA has no money or operating budget • Cannot make a simple mailing. Cannot afford a 39 cent stamp • Association must be proactive • Need small operating budget for: • Professional web hosting • Sponsorship of Pride Academy • Provide gifts to guest speakers
