  3. Concept • PACC meeting of 30 July 2009 mandated the PCU to coordinate the development of the biennial operation plan (PBOP). • Technical working Groups (TWG) by Priority Areas (PA) would be established and led by the Regional Support Agency (RSA) with the best comparative advantage. • PA1,2,5 – CHART/PCU • PA3,4 – PHCO • PA5 - CHRC • The PBOP would determine the activities to be pursued to deliver the Regional Public Goods and Services (RPGS) and cost for execution.

  4. Process of development of the plan • Template developed by the PCU and submitted to the lead RSAs on 11 August 2009 for completion of respective PAs and return by 31 August. • PCU made contact with other RSAs and partners for contributions. • Completed PAs (3,4,5,6) received 9th - 15th September . • Preliminary review conducted by PCU.

  7. Next steps • Completion of all Pas: 21 – 22 Sept. • Internal review by PCU: 23 – 25 Sept. • Submission to PACC: 28 Sept • Review by PACC: 28 Sept – 5 October • Incorporation of PACC changes by PCU: 6 – 9 Oct. • Presentation to AGM

  8. Action required of meeting The meeting is required to: • Note the status of development of the PANCAP Biennial Operation Plan 2010 – 2011 • Endorse the draft PBOP • Endorse the steps to be followed to finalize the PBOP.
