  4. Country Selection Seven countries selected from three geographic regions LAC Peru El Salvador Eastern Europe Moldova Romania Ukraine Arab World Jordan Morocco

Research Activities Research framework for eight main activities for each country KAP Studies Economic Analysis Commercial market segmentation studies Dialogue with national policymakers, donors and other organisations (Coalition members) Identification and technical assessment of manufacturers Assessment of national legal/regulatory issues – tariffs, barriers, attitude to generics etc Identification and assessment of local partners – IPPF MAs, distribution, agencies and commerce Business and marketing plan/s development Activities 1-7 completed by end September 2005 Activity 8 completed by December 2005
