French-American Chamber of CommerceLONG-TERM INTERNSHIPS Criteria: • Intern usually finds the position, using FACC lists • Assignment must be 3 to 12 months in length • Only private companies are eligible • Intern must be paid at least the SMIC (about €1300 per month) • Only full-time positions are eligible (35 hr/week) • Application can be submitted any time during the year • Generally entry-level positions

  9. Long-term Internships – where to begin ? Begin your search for an internship in France at the very least six months in advance of your availability. Contact the FACC for help and resources.
