  13. Semi-Skilled Program • Preparation for the Occupation • Preparation for the Occupation (PO), which must take place entirely in the business, consists of between 350 and 450 hours. • Preparation for the Job Market • Preparation for the Job Market (PJM) must involve activities related to sociovocational integration and the acquisition of specific skills and behaviour. • General Education • General education must include Secondary III language of instruction, second language, and mathematics.

  14. Certification of Studies • The Ministère de l'Éducation will issue an Attestation of Vocational Education to students who have acquired at least the credits for the Secondary III ministerial programs in language of instruction, second language and mathematics, and the competencies (minimum of three) stated in their program. The Attestation is issued by the Ministère on the joint recommendation of the school board and the business (this recommendation must be put into the student’s file).

  16. Adult High School • In accordance with Ministry guidelines, if a student is absent for five (5) days or more from all classes, they will be automatically withdrawn. A letter of withdrawal will be sent to the student’s home. Furthermore, if a student has poor attendance over a period of time, they may also be withdrawn.

Adult High School • Withdrawals:Students may be asked to withdraw from the program for the following reasons: • Excessiveabsenteeism/tardiness • Excessive classroom disruption • Destruction or damage to school property • Poor, inappropriate or violent conduct • Possession and/or under the influence of drugs or alcohol

  18. Adult High School • Plagiarism - For these offences, the student will receive a zero on the work, exam or assignment submitted, as well as a suspension from the class for a period of time to be determined by the teacher and administration. A second offence will result in an immediate withdrawal from the Centre for a minimum of one year.
