  1. RECOMMENDATION APPLICATION WINDOWS PHONE APPLICTION

  2. SIGNING UP AND USER REGISTRATION The user begins by signing up into his/her account with their phone number and password then click the button “Get Started”. In case a user has never registered with the application, they can do so by clicking on the text “Are you new?”which leads them to the registration page.

  3. VIEWING PRIVACY POLICY On this page, we, the application developers inform the end user on how we intend to use and keep their personal information safe. Also the security measures we have taken for the safety of our user’s information

  4. VIEWING AGREEMENTS Here, we ascertain the terms of use of the app. This contract is between the end user and the application developers “IVYSOFT”. The user may need to read this information first before they continue to use the app.

  5. SIGNING UP AND USER REGISTRATION On this page, the new user can fill in their details and submit including a contact and a password which they will use when logging into the application. They can then go to the login page and log into the app.

  6. VIEWINGRECOMMENDATIONS The first page a user sees after logging in contains the recommendations that have been forwarded to them by other users of the app. On this page, the user can sort the recommendations, refresh the page, add a post and edit their profile.

  7. RECOMMENDING AN EXISTING USER Tapping a particular user on the linqs page reveals that users’ profile details. The logged in user may choose to call them b y tapping the call icon or decide to recommend them to other users by tapping the recommend icon at the top.

  8. RECOMMENDING AN EXISTING USER When the recommend icon is tapped, this page shows up and the user can recommend this person to up to four users by one click. The user inserts the phone numbers of the people they want to recommend to and click the recommend button.

  9. SORTING THE RECOMMENDATIONS By tapping the left most item on the application bar, a pop up text box appears and the user can type in it while the app dynamically sorts the recommendations.

  10. REFRESHING AND ADDING A POST Tapping the refresh icon refreshes the linqs page and adds new recommendations incase any have been made. The post icon takes the user to a page as shown in this slide where they can request for a particular service if no one has been recommended to them yet with respect to that service. These posts can be viewed by other users of this app since they are stored in an external database.

  11. EDITING THE USERS PROFILE The edit profile icon navigates the user to a page where they can change their details and save to the database. Initial information about the user is first retrieved from the database then the user can edit.

  12. VIEWING EXISTING POSTS On the pivot page, when the user scrolls to the right after the linqs page, they shall see an updates page. This page will consists of service posts made by various users and a recommendation to any post can be made by the logged in user.

  13. VIEWING POST DETAILS Tapping on any post on the updates page shall navigate the user to a post details page which contains the contacts of the person posting that request and the details of the service they need.

  14. VIEWING MY DETAILS Scrolling to the right after the updates page brings up the logged in user’s details as retrieved from the database. From here, they can upload a profile image from their phone gallery.

  15. RECOMMENDING NON-EXISTING USER Scrolling to the right after the ‘Me’ page avails the user with the option of recommending a person who is not registered with the system. All the user does is enter the persons number then the app searches the database.

  16. RECOMMENDING NON-EXISTING USER If the persons’ contact is not found, this message box shows up and the user can go ahead and register this person thereafter recommend the or just the process.

  17. RECOMMENDING NON-EXISTING USER If the user exists after searching the database, the app shall navigate to that persons profile from which they can be recommended.
