“SecurityNewsDesk.com has 5 trillion hits per day!!!”

Not quite!

With so many websites offering marketing solutions supported by unsubstantiated visitor claims, what’s a decision maker got to work with?

CCTVinfo.com claims...Alexa.com says...

  • Average user online time is two minutes with a page view time estimated to be 45 seconds

  • 61.7% of visitors are UK based

  • UK rank is 118,997 compared to SecurityNewsDesk.com which is ranked at 5,585

  • 52,000 site visitors collectively viewing over

    27,000 different pages.

  • 1.4 million hits / page views per month

  • Over 25,000 of these are unique visitors

  • 18 minutes per visit

ANALYSIS: CCTVinfo.com claims to receive 1.4 million page views per month. If 60 stories per month are posted on the site, that means articles get an average of 20,000+ views each. That’s 50 to 100 times the traffic levels of other sites!

VERDICT: This claim requires further evidence to substantiate it.
