  • Range -- top end research to skill building

  • Low level of investment in R & D

  • Examine International Models /Case Studies

  • Concrete actions for the next 200 days

  • Workshop on 5th March : Brainstorming on ideas for collaboration between industry and academia

  • Three task forces set up:

  • Research, Innovation & Entrepreneurship

  • Skills & Employability

  • Institutional Mechanism

  • Each had equal participation from both industry and academia

  • Over the past two weeks the task forces have brainstormed over the issues
