  2. Bell Ringer • 3. According to the article, adventures in the past pushed boundaries to make new discoveries, like Lewis and Clark exploring unknown regions of the West. Today, since most places on Earth have been exploring adventures merely want to have a thrilling challenge and perhaps become famous.

  3. Begin with a HOOK to get your reader’s interest. Continue with a SUMMARY of the story so your reader understands what you are talking about. Restate the prompt to form your THESIS.
