Corrections can be made and the XML can be resent as long as the online TD report has not been sent. If the report is accepted, a YES will appear in the TD’s online file under “Timing Report”. If the TDTR Software is not used, the TD file will have a “NO”under Timing Report and a copy of the Timing and Data Technical Report must be signed and sent by PDF to the FIS. The FIS cannot guarantee when the status will be updated. Sending the Timing and Data Technical Report xml Alpine Technical Delegates Update 2012

PDF the result (only) and send. If the TIMING REPORT shows a “NO”you need to send in Timing and Data Technical Report form by PDF signed to FIS (Tatjana). (This will happen if the COT is not using the electronic TDTR software.) If the TD REPORT shows a “NO”you need to fill out the TD Report Form, Sign it and send by PDF to FIS (Tatjana) along with any other paperwork such as the Injury Report or protest or sanction minutes. 28. When you have a Protest or a Sanctionyou need to sendJury Minutes (with or without protest) to FIS (Tatjana). 30. To ensure minimal issues: Before the event, please make sure you can get into your online FIS TD file and check that everything is accurate. After the event please review results, penalty and confirm no major timing issues, then oversee sending to FIS the Result XML and TDTR XML. Once the response comes back from the FIS result server that the results are correct, check the online Result and INFO’s to make sure everything is OK on the FIS site. Go into your FIS TD file and verify what has processed (Hopefully YES INFOs, YES Timing Report). If everything is looks good complete the ONLINE TD report and send to FIS. Make sure the TD Report processes. Send any missing documents. CHECKLIST FOR THE TD Alpine Technical Delegates Update 2012

  31. As long as the TD REPORT has NOT been sent to the FIS, you can correct and resend the result XML and/or the TDTR XML. Once the TD REPORT has been sent to FIS, you can not resend anything. The only way to correct mistakes is to make the correction and send the paperwork to Tatjana. What if I see a mistake when I check the results online or when reviewing the timing report? 33. NSA’s shouldcontact Software providers and let them know there will be a new Result XML description that will release November 2, 2012. This will contain the information for the Race Header. Very important in the effort to become “Paperless…” The TD should find out a head of time what is available at the venue for transmitting results electronically. If there is no internet connection onsite, try to find out where the results XML, TDTR XML and TD report can be completed online. In this case the XML files will need to be saved where they are easily accessible to transmit…i.e. a thumb drive etc. Recommendations… Alpine Technical Delegates Update 2012
