  1. Session 9 Back Home Application

  2. Session Objective • Develop a plan to apply what was learned in the workshop and move forward your team’s proposed PHE project design/approach.

  3. Project Team TASK: Organize & Review Project Design • Assemble all the components (worksheets) from your design exercises (conceptual model, goals and objectives, results chains, interventions, indicators, Implementation map/strategy and monitoring plan. • Review the products and note any key questions or concerns. • List your concerns/questions on flipchart. Time: 25 minutes

  4. Team TASK: Back Home Plan • Review your PHE projects/approaches. Agree on main actions/activities for next 3-6 months. • Address these areas: • Information/data gaps • Stakeholders • Technical expertise needed • Research needed on site requirements and selection • Initial research and planning meetings to address the service gaps identified in Session 7 • Internal and external communication to elicit support and build momentum for proposed project integration • Networking opportunities with workshop colleagues

  5. Team TASK: Back Home Plan • Develop a practical and realistic action plan that includes the following: • actions/tasks to be taken • identification of persons responsible • resource requirements • Timing Use the planning format provided Time: 50 minutes
