  3. A little about me… • I have been teaching for 13 years. I specialised in the Foundation Stage and have taught, Nursery, Reception and Year 1. • I have been back and forth between England and Egypt during my teaching career. • I love keeping fit by going to the gym and doing Yoga. My latest craze is doing the Insanity workout!!! I have done 1 walkathon (26 miles) and would love to do the London Marathon (if it wasn’t in term time!!)

  9. Home Learning… • Weekly activities that have been covered in class will be posted on Kidblog for your information or for you to review with your child if you wish to do so. • MBIS Home Learning Policy will be reviewed in the second half of Term 1

  10. How to help your child with home learning • Establish a routine with your child: a set time and place for home learning to be done • Check what tasks have been set and that your child understands what needs to be done • Encourage independence: facilitate not dominate!

  11. Expectations In Foundation 2, the children will be encouraged to: • Develop their independence in all areas of learning.
