NSF Supercomputing History 2000 First Terascale Computing System - PSC “LeMieux” (6 TF) 2001 Teragrid – Distributed Terascale Facility - NCSA, SDSC, Argonne, CalTech (11.6 TF) 2002 Extensible Teragrid Facility - Added PSC “LeMieux” + Improvements (20 TF) 2003 ETF Improvements - ORNL, Indiana, Purdue, TACC (40 TF) 2005 PACI becomes Cyberinfrastructure Partnership (CiP)
