Keep it Simple Make your poster clear and clean, avoid unnecessary clutter and “special effects” that do not add value. Keep the background simple and subtle; use a light coloured background for the main slide body. Do not use WordArt, reflections, drop shadows, 3D, semitransparent fills or textured backgrounds; they are unpredictable and are not necessary. Due Date Your final ePoster will be required by 1 October. Ideas Forum … Do you have a project that was a success, a system your practice has implemented that has delivered real benefits or, perhaps, an idea to share and develop. At the 2014 conference we will be introducing the Ideas Forum for delegates to share projects and practices that have delivered positive outcomes within their practices. The format will be electronic posters (ePosters). ePosters posters will be prepared in PowerPoint and displayed during the conference on four monitors in the exhibition and catering area. The posters will rotate automatically and each poster can have up to three slides. Delegates will be able to pause ePosters to view them in more detail. Topics All topics will be considered, this is an opportunity to both share and receive feedback. The ePosters are not intended as commercial presentations. Submitting ePosters Email a description (200 words maximum) outlining the topic of your proposed ePoster and include your name, organisation and contact details. Please send your proposal to mail@conferencedesign.com.au by 1 September. Your ePoster will be required by 1 October. A QuickTime Sample Video set to AutostartThe original video was in mp4 format, 30 seconds long and 2.1MB.
