  2. How Does A Franchise Work? A franchise works by a normally larger business gives a normally smaller business to sell its products and to operate under its name.

  3. What is a Franchisee/Franchisor? A Franchisee is a person or entity to who the right to conduct a business is granted by the Franchisor. A Franchisor is the company controlling the rights to grant franchises to potential a Franchisee.

  4. History of Franchising It began in the 1840’s when German ale brewers granted rights to some taverns to market their ale and that is what started the franchising we know of in the 20th century.
