ABOUTUNIVERSITY King George's Medical University, is a medical school, hospital and medical university located in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, India. The medical school was upgraded into a medical university by an act passed by government of Uttar Pradesh on 16 September 2002. The University has capacity for 1250 undergraduates students (including 280 dental students) and 450 postgraduate students. The MBBS course takes four and a half years to complete and has an intake of 250 students each year.
The Kings George Medical University (KGMU) is one of Northern India's most prestigious medical schools. The institution is located in Lucknow, the state capital of Uttar Pradesh. The institution was founded in 1911 and is accredited by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and the Medical Council of India (MCI). The university's current principal is Professor DK Gupta.
Bachelor’s: Accordingly, Public universities provide bachelor courses for students. However, they have three bachelor courses concerning Education Background. Further, the learning mode for this course is full-time with a duration of three years. • Diploma • Master’s: Accordingly, the College does not contain master courses for students with subjects related to the Education streams. ADMISSIONS • Original documents will be returned to the candidates immediately after verification.And the copy of the document will be kept by the university for the record.The candidate selected for admission must pay the required charges at the time of admission.Also, The candidate can pay the fee through DD, net banking, and cash.On the reverse side of the DD, the candidate must write the name, admission form number, and the name of the course applied for.Candidates can take a copy of the DD for their own record. • SCHOLARSHIPS • In this college, the central government provides scholarship schemes. Uniquely for the lower class or caste and economically backward classes students. The scholarship is given in their bank accounts only to the students.EBC seats are reserved. And EBC students get around 60% fee as scholarship. Also, the college submits the documents and caste certificates.And, SC and ST are reserved. And, SC/ST students get around 90% fee as scholarships. • PLACEMENTS • Placements play a pivotal role in every college’s reputation and also, in every student’s life. Therefore, college’s placement cell ensures that their students get to work with best of the business companies with handsome salary packages. College’s placement cell trains its students through the help of numerous workshops, mock-interviews and such activities. So, that they can get good job offers during campus placements.
INFRASTRUCTURE • Library • The College has a huge library which the students can benefit from. Apart from that, there are over a thousand books and journals with internet facility, seminar and presentation rooms.Moreover, with such an amount of resources and the peace of the library, students would be able to study diligently and score excellent marks. • Hostels • In addition, the college has two hostels situated inside the campus.However, subject to general control and guidance of the Governing Body, the hostel shall be under the administration of the Hostel board members.Also, the hostel staff is provided with the residential, food, and lodging provided free of cost.Furthermore, the college has a residential staff for students’ safety.
Auditorium • Education should not be limited to the four walls of the classroom.
