    5. What The Registrar Said NETL has demonstrated management commitment to the EMS along with awareness of basic EMS elements among both federal and contractor employees. - Certification Audit, August 2003

    6. What the Registrar Said Effectiveness of training and communications is evident by the strength of the understanding and awareness of the EMS, aspects, objectives and targets found among the Lab personnel. It is evident in all interviews conducted! - Surveillance Audit #1, March 2004

What The Registrar Said The single greatest improvement that was observed from this audit was the awareness by NETL personnel of the EMS and its relationship to the individuals’ jobs and responsibilities. Everyone that was interviewed was able to provide very good responses relative to existence of environmental objectives and how they are helping to achieve these goals as part of their work. - Surveillance Audit #2, October 2004
