  2. Please think of others • There is no hand sanitizer in this classroom. Please do not use this-it aggravates my asthma. • No perfume should be sprayed in the room or at school. • I am fine with you snacking in my classes as long as you do NOT SHARE and clean up after yourself. • No book bags or large bags in here-the isles are already small.

  3. What is being Prepared Look Like? • Student has several pencils and pens. Blue or black ink only. • Pencils are sharpened before the bell. • Student has paper-their own, borrowing is unprepared. • Student has homework, notes, and any other handouts that are needed in class. • At the bell you are in your seat, with paper and pencil/pen out. • You are writing in your agenda and ready to start the warm up. • You are quiet.

  4. Things that make me GRUMPY-or I know what your doing • People who constantly beg to borrow from others. This will cost 2 points • Standing around talking then needing to leave the room. • People who are unprepared with only one pencil that breaks often requiring them to get up and wander. • People who get up over and over for tissue-get several and park it! • Being late repeatedly. • Talking when others are talking. • Talking during announcements. • Screaming

Being Prepared andWriting Utensils • Being Prepared • Loose paper • I do not take ripped or torn papers for credit. • Writing Utensils • Students may use a pencil or a pen (blue or black ink) • Blue or black ink should be used for formal writing assignments. • BYLD devices can be used for notes and research.NO PICTURES or text messages not even from your mom.

Entering and Exiting Class • Entering Class • After entering the room, students may not leave without permission. • Students may not leave books and materials outside the classroom for any reason • Upon entering, students should go to their assigned seats and prepare for class. • Begin working on warm ups and writing in agenda. • Exiting Class • The teacher will dismiss the class Not The Bell. • Do not pack books to exit class until instructed to do so by the teacher. • Students are responsible for cleaning the area around their desks before leaving the room.

  9. Restroom and Water • Restroom • Students should use the restroom before class. • Once class begins if you must go, you need to fill out the agenda, raise your hand and I will sign. Please know that repeated emergency bathroom visits will require me to call home. Lets talk about this…. • Water • Students should get water before class. • You may carry a water bottle in class.

Pencil Sharpening and Trash • Pencil Sharpening • Students are to sharpen pencils upon entering the classroom • If your lead breaks during class and if your have no other writing utensil, raise your hand and wait for further instructions. I am wise to this…I know what your up to • Trash • Trash will be thrown away when your are dismissed from class. Keep it at your desk until you are dismissed. • Pick up all paper around your desk before leaving the room.

  11. Walking In The Hallways As A Class • Students are expected to walk in a straight line when in the hallway. • There will be NO TALKING in line. Other students are still in class. • All school rules apply in the hallway.
