Welcome to Mrs. Akl’s Biology • Pick up a brochure, and find a seat! • On the index card provided, write down the following: • Your name • Your son or daughter’s name • The BEST way for me to contact you (i.e., work, cell, e-mail, etc.) • On the back of the card, let me know if you are interested or able to volunteer in any way. Look inside the brochure for details!

My Promise to Parents • This classroom will be a safe and respectful environment for your children. • Your son or daughter will leave this year with a fundamental understanding of Biology. • Your son or daughter will be presented with an objective awareness of the Biological issues of the 21st century.

  5. What is the IntNB? • The Interactive Notebook, or IntNB, is a way for your son or daughter to keep just about everything in one place. • It helps them organize their notes. • It teaches them how to interact with the information.
