  2. NSW Security Licence • In the last decade NSW has witnessed a high growth and development in the terms of new industries. As the industries are increasing day by day, the requirement of security persons are also increasing so that they can secure the property and people from threat and attacks. Currently, the security industry has many opportunities for the job seekers in Sydney, New South Wales. But everyone cannot start the job of security guard in NSW. For the job of Security Guard, you should hold a valid Security Licence. In New South Wales, NSW Police issues security licence to the eligible persons. Also NSW Police take care of training, licensing and regulations of security guards.

  3. How to Get NSW Security Licence? • If you want to work in a security industry then you must hold a Class 1 or Class 2 security licence. The Class 1 Security Licence includes services of: 1A Unarmed Guard, 1B Bodyguard, 1C Crowd Controller, 1D Guard Dog Handler, 1E Monitoring Centre Operator, and 1F Armed Guard. While Class 2 Security Licence includes services of: 2A Security Consultant, 2B Security Seller, 2C Security Equipment Specialist, and 2D Security Trainer.

  4. How to Get NSW Security Licence? • In order to get a NSW Security Licence you have to pass the basic Security Training Course from the RTO. If you are starting your career in security then you have to pass the Class 1AC Security Licence Course which is also known as CPP20212 Cert II in Security Operations. • If you already hold Class 1AC Security Licence and looking a obtain license Class 1B and/or 1F to pursue role as Bodyguard and Cash in Transit Officer (Armed Guard) then you have pass the NSW Security License CourseClass 1B course which is also known as CPP30411 Certificate III in Security Operations.

  5. How Can You Apply for Security Licence? • After successful completion of the Class 1AC Security Licence Course or Class 1B Course, you’ll be able to apply for the NSW Security Licence.
