  1. Basic facts about Blue Whale

  2. The blue whale is also known as sulphur-bottom whale, the largest animal ever lived, a baleen whale species that weighs around 150 tons and can reach a length of over 30 metres. A female weighing 180 metric tons measuring 29.5 meters was the largest accurately measured blue whale, although there are reports of 33 meters of catches that may have reached 200 metric tons. One blue whale's heart was estimated at close to 700 kg. Blue whales have coloured blue-grey with lighter grey mottling in the form of large spots that appear as if dabbed on by a giant paintbrush. For certain cases, the flippers' lower surfaces are lighter-grey or white. Because of the yellowish underside of certain individuals, which is reminiscent of the light yellow colour of the chemical element, the blue whale has been called the sulphur-bottom whale; this coloration is imparted by some algae that live on the body of the whale.

  3. Blue Whale Facts are: • All about the blue whale is pretty big. Their tongue is about the same as an elephant, their heart is the size of a car, and their blood vessels are so big that people can swim through it. • These blue-grey giants have a long, slender body, a large head, massive flippers, a strong tail, and a narrow dorsal fin. Many people have a yellow-coloured underside, giving rise to the bottom whales with the word sulphur. • Blue whales in all waters except the Arctic and may occur between 2 and 4 or in groups. But 60 whales that together in areas where food is plentiful.

  4. Blue whales consume small shrimp-like crustaceans called krill despite their humongous scale. But they're moving quite a few of those seafood snacks; also, up to 40 million a day. • Such underwater marvels are a baleen whale type. We have baleen instead of teeth, a fibrous substance that was used to filter their milk. The whale leaves a large amount of water in its mouth while it is eating. • A selection of super-loud voice sounds for the blue whales are interacting. Their calls are the loudest of any creature on the planet and can be heard for hundreds of kilometres underwater. • These wondrous aquatic animals follow a pattern of seasonal migration. They then go to hot, tropical waters formatting and giving birth. • Blue whale calves at birth measure 8 m in length and weigh 4 000 kg massively. They also grow fast-these bulky babies are eating rich, fatty milk from the mother and gain approximately 90 kg per day for seven to eight months.
