  1. Getting Started with App Inventor You'll be creating your own apps before you know it!

  2. Objective Set up App Inventor and become familiar with the geography.

  3. Where to find App Inventor http://appinventor.mit.edu/ Go Here

  4. Register with App Inventor Registration requires a Gmail account.

  5. The toolbar is useful. This is on the page you want to see.

  6. Click on "New"

  7. Create a new App Name it whatever you want. The typical first app is called HelloPurr.

  8. What you should see

  9. Update Java Download the most recent version of Java. Go to: http://www.java.com/en/

  10. Open the Blocks Editor click here

  11. Be Patient It takes a moment for the Blocks Editor to load.
