Structure of this presentation • Formally review the progress made by the TMO in the last 12 months in the following areas:- • Building mutual confidence and strengthening relationships between our respective organisations • To work positively and productively together Bacup & Stacksteads TMO Ltd

Building mutual confidence • The TMO has a full board and good support from co-optees • Excellent working relationship with local housing staff • Attendance at TMO board meetings • Submission of regular monitoring reports on housing services • Improvement in staff morale • The TMO has supported the Asset Management staff • The TMO has worked within the landlord business plan • The TMO continues to operate with financial prudence Bacup & Stacksteads TMO Ltd

To work positively and productively together • Successful PAT test project which supported other community groups within Rossendale • Successful Pest Control programme • Comparative research project ongoing which will benefit the landlord • The TMO has been invited to become a community pathfinder by the Tenant Services Authority increasing the landlord profile • TMO board members are members of Sunnycrest Community Centre and Bacup Leisure Hall Project Bacup & Stacksteads TMO Ltd

Reconsider creation of the TMO • The TMO board wish the landlord to reconsider the creation of a TMO within the guidelines issued by the Tenant Services Authority • The TMO wishes to continue to monitor and positively influence the landlord service • The TMO will work with the existing GVH staff including HTS staff • The TMO still has an agreed position with the Unions in this regard • The TMO is willing to sign an Intra-Group agreement to achieve our mutual aims Bacup & Stacksteads TMO Ltd

Why we need to work together • The TMO acknowledges and respects the support offered by the landlord to date • The TMO acknowledges the obstacles that need to be overcome BUT WE WANT TO WORK WITH YOU TO RE-ESTABLISH THE TMO FORMALLY • WE BOTH need to do the right thing and support our community Bacup & Stacksteads TMO Ltd
