Current drafts • draft-wakikawa-mip6-nemo-haha-spec-00.txt • Defines a Home Agent switch message • A new Mobility Header type to switch a Mobile Node to another Home Agent • draft-deng-mip6-ha-loadbalance-02 • Uses new Mobility Header type to send a single Home Agent address to a Mobile Node • Previously used DHAAD • draft-kempf-mip6-ha-alert-00 • Uses new ICMPv6 message to send multiple Home Agent addresses to a Mobile Node • Each draft defines its own security required for messages

  4. New Messages • A Mobility header message from HA to MN • Signals to the MN that it wont serve the MN any longer • Suggests one or more alternate HA addresses • MN can pick the alternate HA from the message or perform DHAAD again • A Mobility header message from MN to HA acknowledging the above message • IPsec protection • BU/BAck SA can be used
