  3. Atkins Highlights Small School High Expectations Dedicated Magnet STEM Clubs (Science Olympiad, TSA, Forensics, Robotics, etc.) STEM Electives (with lots of cool “toys”) SMOD 2.58 Miles to the new Career Center PLUS – Everything the “other” schools can offer (AP courses, Band, Sports, etc.)

  5. Biotechnology Students will learn about the cell, its processes and products and how they can be used to improve the human condition. Biotechnology Possible Careers Research & Development Quality Control Clinical Research Manufacturing & Production Regulatory Affairs Information Systems Administration Finance & Investment • High emphasis on lab skills and research • Biotech Industry • Medical Research • CSI • Agricultural, Industrial and Environmental Applications

Biotechnology Students will learn about skills that will lead them into a career in the medical profession Possible Careers Doctors Nurses Physician’s Assistants Lab technicians Therapists Dentists Forestry Veterinarians Agriculture Sales Reps Administrators EMS Biomedical • Emphasis on Health Care • Human Anatomy • Personal Care • Technology • Team Relations

  9. Computer Technology • Students will get hands-on experience with the latest industry design software. Focus on 2D, 3D graphics, animation, video production, and webpage design.
