  • Annual series of 4-6 web-based MCH DataSpeaks providing skills building

  • Support MCH epidemiology doctoral students who use state or local data for their dissertation

  • Support CDC/HRSA program on state-based MCH epidemiologists

  • Co-sponsor the MCH Epidemiology conf.

  • With CDC, sponsor training opportunities through AMCHP at the MCH Epidemiology Conference

  • Quadrennial survey of 15,000 US children in 6th--10th grades

  • Information compared to 30 other countries conducting the same survey

  • Co-sponsored by NICHD and HRSA/DCAFH

  • Next survey to begin in 2005

  • Goal is to provide background information on adolescent health behavior in support of MCHB programs
