National Resource Centers The U.S. Department of Education provides, through Title VI Grants, support to many universities with expertise in specific area studies, including two National Resource Centers on Canada 1.) Pacific Northwest NRC (U Washington-WWU) 2.) East Coast NRC (U Maine-SUNY Plattsburgh) Additional outreach and program grants are awarded annually by the Embassy of Canada.
