  9. How To Search Depends on PURPOSE • Integrate the academy theme into an academic core class • Find curriculum to for a specific integrated project • Find key resources to anchor a team interdisciplinary project • Find course outlines for pathway programs of study

  10. Searching Start by selecting just the industry sector to see what is available, and how it is organized. SUBMIT

  11. Organization of Curriculum Resources • Resources are grouped by type of resource, with some overlap. • To see the multi-disciplinary projects in your industry sector, click on the + • To find a lesson on a specific topic for a specific subject area, you will need to narrow the search.

  12. Narrowing The Search Use “Subject area” to find curriculum specific to a subject within an industry sector. Search broadly before narrowing.

  13. Working with Search Results Expand a section to see an abstract, briefly describing the resource. Below each find links to the actual resource, and to a more complete description.

  14. The Complete Description The complete description includes alignment with standards, expected outcomes and a detailed description of the activities and assessments.

  15. Narrowing the Search Let’s say you are looking for a specific area within a subject to connect to your industry field… Arts, Media & Entertainment, English, and Poetry.
