  7. Our PSSA Goals for the Future

  8. Sources of Revenue Our district receives the majority of its funding through local real estate taxes. Our millage rates are among the lowest in the two counties we serve. District residents in Berks County pay real estate taxes at a rate of 20.3 mils and residents of Chester County pay real estate taxes at a rate of 21.1mils. A mil is $1.00 per $1,000 of assessed value. In addition to local revenue, the district also receives funding from the state and federal levels.

  9. Businesses and Organizations in the District • Our district is home to numerous businesses as well as many community organization. It is our goal to partner with and support these entities as we work to best serve our students. Some examples of our current partners include: • Twin Valley YMCA • Mixturez Dance Studio • Martin's Markets • Bender's Sports Center • Green Hills Soccer Club • Eshelman Bus Company • We want to thank all of our partners for their continued support.
