Kitchen Planner / Kitchen Designer (AutoCAD) Salary – £22,800 Potential Route GCSE Product Design A Level Product Design Resistant Materials Design @ University Potential Route GCSE Hospitality NVQ Level 2 in Food and Drink Service, or Hospitality Service. The Role As a Kitchen Designer in a team of 3 and reporting to the Installations Manager, your main roles and responsibilities will include: • Produce kitchen plans and quotations using Planit AutoCAD • The kitchen plans / designs are produced from architectural layouts supplied by the client • Keep a database of the work produced • General office administration duties • Liaising with customers and the company’s own external sales managers and surveyors The successful candidate for this role will have the following skills, qualities and competencies: • Experience of Planit AutoCAD would be ideal, though similar is fine. • Experience of designing kitchens would be beneficial, though similar is fine • Someone who can work on his or her own as well as part of a team. • Someone able to work own initiative and have the ability to see things through to a satisfactory conclusion. • Architectural drawing experience would be an advantage • Attention to detail • Able to work to deadlines and under pressure. • Good IT skills Knowledge of excel, word and MS Windows environment essential. • Someone who can follow instructions • Confident, clear and concise communicator • Ability to manage and prioritize their workload • Ability to agree and meet deadlines • Maths & English GCSE min requirements
