Tumor antigen is the new antigen produced by tumor cells. It can cause cell immune response and humoral immune response .

Types:

New protein ,conformation-changed protein, hidden determinants ,etc.

early stage of immunity, are the first barrier .

Mechanism

    Bind to MHC class I chain-related molecules A/B

  • Induce and increase cytotoxic effection of the cytotoxic cells .(for example NK,CTL,).

  • It can also stimulate the activated T cell to produce IFN,IL-4~6 and CSF.
