  2. Objectives for Worcestershire • Everyone in the county to have access to Broadband speeds of at least 2Mbps. • Superfast broadband available to 90% of the authority by 2015. (BDUK targets) • 90% of business have the ability to access superfast broadband by 2015. (Worcestershire target) (Note: Superfast Broadband is currently considered to be 24Mbps)

Project Timeline • Local Broadband Plan agreed by Cabinet – 24 November 2011 • Local Broadband Plan submission to BDUK – w/e 12 December 2011 • Demand stimulation, influencing role, prioritisation of areas – January to Autumn 2012 • BDUK Procurement Framework available to be accessed for mini competition to contract approved Supplier – Autumn 2012

[Slideshow Title - edit in Headers & Footers] Black, grey and white areas • Black areas – areas with 2 or more suppliers • Grey areas – areas with 1 supplier • White areas – areas with no suppliers • Areas can be Black, Grey or White for: • Superfast broadband • Broadband at minimum service (2Mbps) • Project focus is on the white areas
