TDMS • Mission: • Management of Medical and Public Health Resources • Communicate with and among partners • Support incident management for health and medical activities • Systems approach to align resources & services • Steering committee consisting of representatives from acute care and public health

  5. Regional Medical Operations Center (RMOC) The Regional Medical Operations Center (RMOC) provides operational support for public health and medical response at the local and regional area.

  6. RMOC Con’t • At the local and regional levels, the RMOC provides ESF-8 support for coordination, control, response assets, and recovery. • The RMOC: • Is the operational arm of a DDC for health and medical response. • Fills the gap when local jurisdictions cannot fully perform the essential services. • Provides public health leadership with partners including local health departments, local emergency management, local elected officials, and other state agencies.
