  1. Global warming

  2. Global warming • “Refers to the increase in the average temperature of the Earth's near-surface air and oceans in recent decades and it is expected to continue.” • Wikipédia

  3. Causes: • Ozone layer destruction: The ozone layer protects us from radiations. If it is destroyed, the radiations come more easily in to the Earth and it will heat up.

  4. Air pollution : Today there is a lot of pollution caused by man. There are many gases in the air that will increase the temperature of the Earth.

  5. Deforestation: Gases such as carbon dioxide (from deforestation and the burning of coal, oil and natural gas) act like glass in a greenhouse.

  6. Effects • Greenhouse effect : It is caused by heavy industry that has been spewing out carbon dioxide.

  7. Sea level rise: Due to Global Warming there is a rise in the level of the sea because the Glaciers are melting down.

  8. Climate change: Climate chances because there is pollution caused by the human being. The climate warms up and causes the greenhouse effect.

  9. Solutions • Planting trees • Using hybrid cars • Using non polluing renewable energies (the wind, the waves, the sun) • Using filters in Industrial chimneys • Recycling domestic wastes

  10. These solutions are good for the environment and help to reduce the Global Warming.
