  1. Certification Maintenance Online Tool BCRSP introduces a new web-based tool to assist certificate holders in tracking their Certification Maintenance Points (CMPs)

  2. Step 1: Log-In • To access the CMP tracking tool, certificate holders must first log-in to the Certificate Holder Only section of the website. • Your user id is your registration number (including the hyphen) • If you do not know your password, and your email address is on record, you can click the forgot password link in order to receive an email reminder. • If the BCRSP does not have your current email address on record, you will need to contact info@bcrsp.ca and request your password be sent to you.

  3. Step 2: Select the CMP Tracking Tool Link • Once logged into the certificate holders only section, you will see a menu of options (see image right). Select the Certification Maintenance Program (CMP) link. • Once redirected to the CMP sub-page, select the CMP Tracking Tool link

  4. Step 3: Viewing the online worksheets

  5. Step 4: Claiming CMPs • Click the ‘Claim’ button to be taken to this page • Enter the amount of applicable points • Browse to upload supporting documentation • Click the ‘Submit’ button to finalize submission • Updating the CMP worksheet with this online tool should be done on a continual basis, not only when you are audited • This tool can be used to track Professional Development for many purposes

  6. Step 5: Viewing CMPs already claimed • Click on the ‘View’ button to see any CMPs already claimed • You will also be able to view the supporting documentation that has been uploaded • If changes need to be made, select the ‘Delete’ button and revise using the steps outlined in the previous slide • The last column will indicate how which submissions have been approved and which are still pending approval

  7. Reminder • Once you have completed inputting your latest entry you may log out. A record of all entries will automatically be saved when you submit each claim • Please note you will still need to submit a hard copy of your CMP worksheets when you are audited • BCRSP will initiate the audit by mailing out the necessary documentation indicating that it is your year to submit
