And, what’s going on here? Next, you need to research programs in the city which are suitable for you. If you get a program which you like, you’ll do well. Get the best program, because you don’t want to waste your money…

OK, how about this one? Third, I suggest that you find a place to stay that suits your needs. This is important because you don’t want to waste a lot of time and money. I recommend finding a place where you can cook your own meals at home, and that’s close to where you are going to study or work. Stay away from dormitories, unless they put you with people from several cultures. Otherwise you’ll be tempted to speak your native tongue all the time…

And this one… Finally, it’s imperative that you make friends with locals. Again, you mustn’t just hang around people from your own country. If you do that, you are wasting money. When I was in Vancouver, I met a local guy at my part time job. We both liked punk rock music a lot. He showed me cool places to go, and I got to meet a lot of people. Most importantly, I spoke English all the time. I had no choice!

Conclusion sentences So many conclusions sound like this: If you follow my advice you will really succeed in English. If you do as I’ve suggested, you’ll surely be the best. If you try hard and follow the steps mentioned, you can be the king of English speakers.

Try putting a tangible outcome in your conclusion. Examples: If you follow the advice you give me, you won’t believe how easy it is to speak with native English speakers. Just go for it. Learn English abroad, and you’ll never feel shy again when you meet a native speaker. If you really feel serious about becoming bilingual, follow my plan. You’ll not only learn a new language, you’ll become a new person who has confidence and real world experience.
