  4. An average of 89.5 in the subject area at the time of Registration; AP Art must have teacher approval. Students who have an average from 85-89.5 may request to be considered for entrance; teacher recommendation will be considered in these cases. • Willingness of student and parents to sign a contract in which they agree to commit themselves to the program. Students who are in class when an assignment is given, and then absent on the day an assignment is due must send in the assignment by email or with a friend. • Teachers with students who have low performance at any time during the first semester have the prerogative to request the Principal to withdraw the student from the AP class.  AP Policies

  6. AP students cannot exempt from Semester I exams. Semester I exams should be AP practice exams. • Any student who does not sit for the Collegeboard AP exam will have to take an earlier edition of the AP exam during the regular AP exam schedule; this includes students from the Spanish Language class who choose not to take the regular AP exam. • Additional AP classes might be held after school or on Saturdays for students to take practice AP exams or receive other course work.
