Another place women found employment was at the Civil Service either teaching or working with medicine. Since some were pilots and some were soldiers they worked at war bases too.

  7. How Long They Worked and How Much They Made When women worked their wage wavered between a dollar to three dollars in a week, depending on what job they had. They worked long hours everyday. Some thought it was not fair but others thought it was fair.

  8. How did they help the soldiers at war? They made the weapons and air craft The also went to war

  9. How did it effect them when the men came home? When the men came back most of the women lost their jobs and became housewives again. The women that were looking after the farms and animals while the men were at war had to give the farm job back to the men, but some still helped.
