  2. Introduction Each species has its role in the world and their position in the food chain. The disappearance of a species causes a breakdown of this harmonious link and harms the environment.

  4. Fauna • The fauna is all animals of a region or a country. • In Portugal, the wildlife is very diverse because there are plenty of forests, woods and pine forests.
