  1. Think privately of a recent occasion when you were worried about something that might happen. B. Continue thinking about: Whether it did happen 2. If so, whether it was as bad as you thought it would be If not, whether you need have worried What difference, if any, worrying made to what happened Then, share your thoughts about 1, 2, 3 and 4 with a talking partner, and discuss whether worrying could actually make things worse.   2. As a wholegroup, discuss: Whether grown ups worry more, or less, than children (Give examples and reasons for your view.) 2. Whether worrying could sometimes make things better (Give examples.) Whether some people worry too much, and others not enough (Give reasons.) What could be done to help people worry less, or more? Feeling Worried – how much

As a wholegroup, discuss: Whether most people worry about what others think of them If so, whether that leads to good consequences more often than to bad Whether some people are so worried about what other people may think of them that they avoid doing new things or meeting new people If so, what can others do to help them, and what can they do to help themselves?
