Installing PGP • Open the C:\PGP directory and double-click on setup.exe • Follow the below steps, using the settings described.
Making a key • To use PGP you need to create a PGP key. • When prompted to do so, creat a PGP key under a false(or real, it doesn’t matter) name and e-mail address. • Be sure to write down your key paraphrase as you will need it later. • Do NOT send it to a keyserver.
Encrypting a file • Right-click on the file to encrypt and select encrypt from the PGP menu • Drag the key that you made to the lower window • Click OK
De-Crypting a file • Double-click on the file to De-Crypt. • Type in your paraphrase when prompted.
